Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

corruption is an anti-thesis to development and has been the undoing of most of the underdeveloped world. This to a great extent is responsible for the large scale of poverty, infrastructural decay, conflict, poor quality of education, poor health services, deaths and the dilemma of the average citizen of the underdevloped countries.Good governance is a catalyst to the growth and development of democracy and corruption can take all the life out of this. The harm and dangers of corruption to any society or economy can not be quantified in holistic terms. Therefore, it should be fought wherever it is found if we are truly going to build a better world.

Corruption of money
Regardless of income levels, the #1 corruption threat facing a majority of countries
is the unregulated flow of money into the political process, a new report finds. Global Integrity, an award-winning international nonprofit organization that tracks governance and corruption trends globally, released the report, a major investigative study of 57 countries, today. Some say it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. Others say that the only people, who believe that, are the ones who don't have any money. Regardless, it seems so much more important during a recession. More people are getting payday loans yet donations to foundations and charitable contributions have increased from some people. (Some no doubt in order to get a tax break, but hey – every little bit counts.) How do you feel about payday loans and money?
